DELIVERY POLICY

Satay Putera Kajang (“we” and “us”) is the operator of (https://satayputera.com/) (“Website”). By placing an order through this Website you will be agreeing to the terms below. These are provided to ensure both parties are aware of and agree upon this arrangement to mutually protect and set expectations on our service.

1. General
Subject to stock availability. We try to maintain accurate stock counts on our website but from time-to-time there may be a stock discrepancy and we will not be able to fulfill all your items at time of purchase. In this instance, we will fulfill the available products to you, and contact you about whether you would prefer to order another product or if you would prefer for us to process a refund.

2. Delivery Costs
Delivery costs are calculated during checkout based on standard delivery distance of the order. This price will be the final price for shipping cost to the customer.

3. Returns
Returns are not allowed for orders as these are perishable products.

3.2 Warranty Returns
Warranty of any product order is not provided as these are perishable products.

4. Delivery Terms
Our normal delivery time is between 45 minutes and 1 hour, however certain situations such as traffic, weather, and restaurant preparation time require extra time. Please know that we are always working hard to get your food delivered as quickly as possible. We appreciate your patience. Placing orders in advance is appreciated. If there is any extension in required timing, the customer will be notified via a phone call.

4.1 Change Of Delivery Address
No change of delivery address will be allowed and if it is found that the customer has accidentally provided a wrong address, a second delivery charge will be imposed.

4.2 Delivery Time Exceeded
If delivery time has exceeded the forecasted time, please contact us so that we can conduct an investigation.

5. Food/products Damaged In Transit
If you find that the order is damaged in-transit, if possible, please reject the delivery from the courier and get in touch with our customer service.

6. Fees & Taxes
Relevant fees and sales tax have already been applied to the price of the goods as displayed on the website.

7. Cancellations
If you change your mind before you have received your order, we are NOT able to accept cancellations as our kitchen would have commenced with the food preparation.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

1: How does this work?
We receive your order via our website. We dispatch a meal courier to deliver it directly to you. Usually, your meal courier will be waiting at the restaurant when the food comes out of the kitchen.

2. Can we allow MY card only since the merchant is targeting Malaysia?
Any credit card issued in Malaysia can be used.

3. What does the brand Satay Putera Kajang represent in the following areas of definition?

(i). What business is the merchant operating?
Kajang Satay House(M) Sdn Bhd operates under the retail brand name “Satay Putera Kajang” and specialises in the food and beverage business, including restaurant operations, retail distribution and delivery.

(ii). What is the service / product merchant selling / provided?
Our core products are skewered barbecued food available in various meats including chicken, beef, lamb, fish, squid, prawns and even veggie satay. We also serve a variety of local street delicacies including Mee Hailam, Nasi Lemak, Otak-Otak and more. In response to the Covid-19 pandemic, we have also initiated the delivery of essential foodstuff including frozen satay, ready-to-cook food as well as fresh, frozen and chilled produce, meats and groceries.

(iii). What fee does the merchant collect using iPay88?
We collect payment for food and other products ordered and payable under the platform. The merchant fee is borne by us.

4. (i). Are the food/products prepared by Satay Putera Kajang?
Primary products for sale (80%) are prepared by Satay Putera Kajang’s kitchen. We also have our strategic partners supplying others on contract (20%).

(ii). Are the food/products delivered by Satay Putera Kajang?
We will accommodate some deliveries on our own and work with delivery partners such as Lala Move in several geo-locations so that deliveries can be fulfilled efficiently.

5. In case, there is any dispute/ chargeback case/ complaint received from the customers or there are claims that products are not received, spoiled, not meeting order description, we will issue a response ticket and assign a support personnel to attend to the issue. This will be followed-up until the ticket is closed and the customer has reverted with feedback.

6. Refund policy:
The customer is financially responsible for payment once an order is submitted. If you want to change your order, we will attempt to accommodate such wishes within the time constraints and the good will of the participating restaurants. However, if a change is too late to process, you are responsible for payment of the original order. Changes to orders must be phoned to the Satay Putera Kajang. Our email is not checked often enough to ensure that we get your changes.

Standard operating procedures may include the following. If proven that:

  • Food is not delivered; full refund will be provided.
  • Food portion or quantity do not follow portion requirements, refunds will be made proportionally). We suggest calling us within 10 minutes of delivery, so we may address the shortage. Any credits will be based upon the restaurant’s decision. Our drivers do not open up containers to verify your food or ordered product.
  • Food quality is inadequate, we will replace the order with another meal of the same value.

7. Kindly revert to us any supporting documents you can provide to prove service is rendered?
We would request that customers endorse on a delivery receipt.

8. Does the meal courier check my order?
Your meal courier relies on the restaurant staff to prepare and pack your order accurately. For your health safety assurance, meal couriers are not allowed to open containers. Our drivers are trained food handlers. Please take a moment to check your order before your meal courier leaves.
